One interface - so many applications
TopNet integrates the Request Management, Project Management and Document/Web Content Management procedures in the Product Lifecycle Division at Siemens AG.
Following the successful roll-out of TopNet, many user groups no longer have to individually run multiple applications that support processes.
Once single sign-on access has been made, new projects and products can be structurally created and managed with just a few keystrokes and mouse clicks.
In the background, a central CrossWorlds entity provides for the automatic generation and distribution of the respective application-specific information objects and document folder structures in the linked systems.
